plenty of pro teams have stadiums far from the metro center
AT&T Stadium for The Cowboys for an example. Sits in-between downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth, right next to Globe Life Park for the Rangers.

Yep.. and i mentioned San Francisco in my post above- just Google gps’d it and it’s exactly 1 hour and 1 minute from the San Fran city center to Levi’s Stadium (at least right this minute).. and Miami is 40 min from Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins play .

Look, i agree that the appeal of NOLA for Super Bowls and the like has always been the proximity of the Dome to the greatest party district in the country.. and in an ideal world, id like to see it continue.. but (i know, Newsflash)- we dont live in an ideal world and im just saying if you ARE going to start from scratch in a new location, dont half-arse it and build just over the Parish line, go to higher, safer ground .

ETA im a Saints season ticket holder who is seriously considering giving up my tickets since i dont want to pay $50 to park then have my shite broken into or stolen.. as much as i generally cant stand the Northshore, id prefer it at this point in terms of safety for games .
