This is probably the best idea yet. Right in-between the street recreation and restaurants in NOLA and the airport. Plus you get the security of JPSO.

nothing is logistically feasible about not having the stadium downtown tied with the economics of the hotels and the quarter. If its moving out of downtown, its likely moving out the region.

sure, we could build a basketball arena in Mandeville, but the hotels and the economics tied with nola tourism and nba events just doesn't make sense.

Not viable long term, too close to the feral animals creating the current problem

It would be a traffic nightmare, not to mention the horrible optics of wasting $700 M in multiple Superdome refurbishments only to move 10 miles away.

The metro popluation of NOLA is now under 1M with the continued flight out of Louisiana. We're just not a major sports league any longer and the sooner we accept the inevitable move away the better.
