I had YTTV until about 5 months ago. I always liked it.
My HOA included free internet and Bluestream cable, but the cable was SD, unless you upgraded the tv box @ 10 bucks per box times 5 TVs. Plus, all your TVs had to be tethered to a cable outlet. I didn't want to pay big bucks to have a cable outlet run to my back patio, either - CBS construction makes it a real pain in the arse.
Five months ago, my cable company upgraded their system so that you could stream using their App. Everything was now HD and no more tethering. I dropped YTTV and I really do like the Bluestream App. Similar to YTTV, except you enter the channel numbers from the remote to go directly to the channel you want, rather than scrolling through the channel list. Also, I can watch anything TV show for up to 4 days after it runs without having to record it. Just like YTTV, I can watch shows on my phone.
I found out that a lot of my neighbors were paying 10 bucks a month for a cable box (that was basically a wifi streaming box after the upgrade). I told them they should get a Fire TV stick for 25 bucks (Roku doesn't have the Bluestream App, yet), and just download the app. They had no clue. I ended up holding a lunch and learn session to teach people about how to download and use the Bluestream app and demo the differences between different devices. They were freaking amazed that I could set my TV on a table, plug it in, and start watching "cable" tv. I still get people texting me questions about their setups. I saved so many people $30/$40/$50 a month that day...

Should have had your “donation” info available for all your happy neighbors to contribute! Nice service work!
