There will be posters here who will point out that Mexico is too dangerous to visit. There is not a grain of truth in this as millions of people go to Mexico from the US every day and few ever experience any sort of criminal activity. Mexico is as safe as the border town north of the border and sometimes safer. It is entirely possible to become a victim of crime anywhere....that risk is no reason to live life scared when the fear is irrational and unfounded. It is truly sad that irrational fears can prevent folks from living their life to the fullest....of course that assumes that those people would like to visit Mexico but are scared to do so....that is probably less true than the idea that Mexico is inherently dangerous. Most people who say Mexico is too dangerous for them provbably wouldn't go if crime were ended completely in Mexico simply because they don't have the desire to go to Mexico...

I'm not saying its too dangerous, I agree its likely perfectly fine.

But I also don't think its fair to argue that Mexico is safer then just hunting a lease in Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana.

I talked to an outfitter about hunting in Mexico a couple times. He had a really good set up where you could dove, duck, and deer hunt on 100k acres of land. Two years ago he went to Mexico and hasn't been seen since.
