I’ve heard some say our scent molecules cling to damp air even more so. Whatever is true, I’ll hunt in any condition.

Totally agree about the quiet aspect, I love when leaves and twigs don’t crunch as loudly.

Woke up to it storming and opted for coffee and a big breakfast instead of getting soaked. In all fairness, having an icechest nearly filled by the big doe from Friday affected my motivation.

Correct. My dogs track much better during or right after it rains. The exception is a sustained downpour. Dry and hot is when scenting conditions are bad.
