Bengals Coach Zac Taylor (who is normally very milquetoast as it comes to griping at officials) just had some interesting comments:

- as far as I’m concerned, we just want the rules followed. you don’t want to make up any rules

- it’s an opportunity lost. We had control and now we don’t. There are a lot of positives for other teams, and only negatives for us

- (on team’s front office) I love they they are fighting for us, somebody has to because it’s obvious the league isn’t

- (Taylor) doesn’t want to hear about “fair and equitable” when rules are being changed on the fly

“Zac Taylor should stop caring so much. It’s just footballs” - 1st page of this thread

It’s a game and the players are still millionaires

It affects your life 0

I’d wager you seemingly care about this more than any bengals player

I can tell you my brother in law is from cincy, went to UC, and has a large group of bengals fans that I know personally as well. Prob 8-10 of them I play fantasy with and have an active FF group text where we have been discussing this regularly

None of them are complaining. A couple were in attendance as well, so it probably felt a bit different seeing it in-person.

I’m still cracking up at these abortions of posts It’s like the complete opposite of what my own eyes see reading Bengals’ fans posts online

This is inaccurate.

First, if he’s talking about 2nd/3rd seed, then yes not playing that game sucks for them. But he can’t just assume they would have won on Monday night. That’s not “fair and equitable” to the Bills to make them forfeit.

Second, if he’s talking about the division, the Bengals are still in control.

If the roles were reversed and the tie would have screwed them for the division, he would be signing a different tune. He needs to man up and stop acting like Anthony Brown is going to beat them on Sunday.
