Like everything else, it may well go down further, but in time I don't think I will regret it @ $83.05

I'm wondering about AAPL and MSFT too.

Until i see some holiday sales numbers, i'm not touching anything retail. I suspect they will be very ugly.

I kind of agree, but the other day leaving my house, headed to work, I passed about 100 vehicles. NO LIE, more than 1/2 were Amazon vehicles. Got me thinking.
We might be in a recession, we will have interest rates go up, but people still need necessities, and it seems that MANY are getting them from Amazon.

May have been heading to the auction block with all the layoffs!
You're good long-term.

Welcome to hell. I'm in at $99.50.

Only thing that can save most is if they “guided down “ enough so they can spin with the whole “beat expectations” thing
Early data suggests the holiday retail season won’t look pretty (inflated - sure - but less “stuff” bought etc)

They might be half full… which will bleed even more cash. Or they’re busting at the seams. Nobody knows.

Agreed. Based on the long run sales I’m seeing in online retail, I’m going to guess they were weak and/or they just over ordered inventory. Check nearly any brand you normally buy from. There likely still running a 50% off sale

Not the game to play. Anticipate the fed pivot

It will be a long time until the fed pivots. Don’t kid yourself.

And when they do actually pivot, it’s going to be because we have a dire reason to. And if you look at a chart of when the fed finally does pivot, it ain’t pretty.
For those hoping for a Fed pivot, this is what happens after the pivot. Be careful for what you wish for...

Those are all pretty terrible analogs considering the Fed is raising rates into a declining equity market, something that didn’t happen in any of those examples.

I do a ton of Amazon worker’s disability claims and have friends in other states who do as well. They self insure and have to be hemorrhaging money on this from what I see. You have no idea how many people work 3 months, tell a supervisor they are suicidal, then get a check the rest of their life.

Not my point. The actual numbers are meaningless now. Look at how the market reacts when EMPLOYMENT rates are HIGHER than expected. The market goes down.
Ponder how absolutely insane that is!
Market is just moving with the feds. It's not time to invest until they pivot.

That shows the disconnect between Main Street and Wall Street.

Yup. The financial world is separating from the real world ushering in the great reset.

I think the more educated consumer is Amazons biggest threat.
