If you like seafood, try to drive to Abbeville one evening and hit up Dupuy's. Pop's is really solid for po-boys as is The Villager in Maurice. Social has awesome bourbon and almost all of the entrees are very good - I'd rec either the hanger steak or burger there. For a sports bar, Pete's isn't bad at all.
