My grandparents had one like that and used it deep into the 2000s. After they died I think we just left it in the house after my dad sold it because it was heavy as shite and who wanted that thing these days. I kind of wish we would have moved it somewhere and kept it now..

The TV on the floor/console situation needs to make a comeback. Our children should watch TV laying on their bellies with chins propped on their fists the way God intended. The TV over the fireplace trend needs to go away.
