Heading to PR on Friday. Will be there four or five days. Any suggestions? I’ve been trying to find some on internet. Anyone that has been to a good one would be greatly appreciated.

Raices for traditional PR cuisine. Very well known. Felt more authentic for the tourist spot it is. Went because a coworker from SJ recommended it. Delicious. Get the mofongo.

La Casita Blanca
It’s much more of a local spot and the food was awesome. The service was fantastic as well. When we got in the Uber to go there our driver said it was one of the best spots in the city and she was shocked we knew to go there.

Our favorite was Cocina Abierta near Condado Beach.

I crave that side dish to this day. Unreal how much flavor there is in that.

Don't have many good recs because we usually eat at family in San Juan, but two that we always hit up are Metropol and Kasalta. Kasalta has the best quesitos on the island.
Puerto Rican food is amazing, and super underrated, just don't expect to not put on a few pounds or eat a vegetable.

Tell me about San Juan when you get back. Looks like I’ll be spending a lot of time there this year and I’ve never been.
