You do know that soldiers don't get to quit when a brother/sister gets KIA don't you. That is why I hate when theses dumb arse announcers and athletes compare themselves to warriors going to battle. They play a game, the other is life or death. All repect to Vets and Active Duty.

Yea that’s why he only referenced baws who are working, not soldiers.

Give it up man. Ryan Clark referred tho those phrases as ‘cliches’ which is exactly what they are.

Both comparisons are dumb. Soldiers can’t quit. Because it’s not a game and the enemy does not stop shooting because they hit one. You have to keep fighting to live because you are still in danger.

Players are not still in danger after the whistle blows.
