Nitrogen side dress question.
I sent my soils to LSU for testing. If I’m interpreting it correctly I need to side dress with nitrogen. For tomatoes specifically it says 3.84lbs/100 ft row of ammonium sulfate. My rows are only 25 ft so I will do 1/4 of that which is .96 lbs for 25 ft.
Is it just me or does that seem like a lot? Should I split that amount up over a couple week? I’ve never side dressed with nitrogen before.
