I like it better than pork from store.I only eat them in the winter when they’ve been eating acorns, pecans and of course ,deer corn.
Some people eat them all year round but I never wanted to eat one in summer.

I hear ya. The ranch we hunt on in South Texas has corn and hi protein deer feed out all year long. For his “pet deer”. We can shoot all the pigs we want, but not deer. Some big racks there, though.
We generally go feb through April or early may.

Former Tiger and Redskins LB?
Used to chase down ponies for me and my sister to ride. Dead of winter in his bare feet.

Back in the 80’s he and another player were nailing the two coeds who lived next door to me in The Establishment.
