We don’t even let passenger planes fly without pilots onboard and that’s by far the most AI-friendly practical utilization that’s “disruptive”. Color me skeptical this AI will do anything in the next 10 years besides replace McDonald’s workers

The entire country just spent two years bowing down and taking orders from the government and while being stripped of our freedoms instantly. All of our manufacturing is done overseas. So we have a country that is full of people that will conform and do what they’re told combined with a corporate machine that only cares about profit margins. Once AI is accepted culturally it will spread because it will be so financially beneficial to have a machine doing what 10 or 100 people can do. We already have a ton of people that also allow their tesla’s drive them around. Half of this country has no pride and no longer wants to work. It’s not that difficult to connect the dots on how easy this can grow out of control so quickly. How long has the pronouns and gender controversy been a thing? A few years? And now grown arse men can piss in the women’s bathroom at Target. The genie is already out of the bottle. We are so fricked
