He's an odd bird. I've been backstage at several of his shows and he is very "offish." There apparently is, however, a valid reason for this behavior.

At one show, one of his "handlers" suggested that he would not take a photo with the promoter and his family (the person who wrote him a fat check for playing). Tritt did, however, and was surprisingly nice in doing so (given the actions of the "handler").
