thinking Shitsy would like a quick court. But while that is probably true about his serve, he has long, loopy strokes and is not a great returner himself. So, even if the court is fast (which I'm not sure is the case), I wouldn't say it's a huge advantage for him.

Well said. I feel like both guys are kinda stuck in between on all surfaces, which is fine when you're one of the Big 3, and NOT fine otherwise.

I'm still not sure what to think of Sinner. He's good on clay but I think that's mostly due to growing up on it, and not because his game is suited for it. The lack of a big serve holds him back on faster surfaces imo. He's really solid all-around but not really great at anything.

I guess if he keeps slowly improving all-around that would be ideal, but is that possible? And when you look at the competition, he's blocked on clay by Alcaraz, Rafa, and Joker for a while. Grass can probably be written off. Can he win AO with an average serve? Not for a few years imo. USO is probably his best shot going forward but Alcaraz is a huge problem there and a lot of bangers are coming up these days.
