This might be the best I've ever seen Sock hit the backhand. The forehand is obviously straight cash.

Wish he was in any other quarter except the one with Alcaraz.

I caught the end of Thiem/Mannarino on replay and thought it was kind of sad that Thiem couldn't beat that weak scoop forehand. I thought he would close it out up 5-3 in the third set breaker. This was the very first point I saw.

That was an amazing point to get up 2-0.

But he kept following up amazing points with stuff like dumping 2nd-serve forehand returns into the net.

ETA: This is one of my favorite plays

Canucks made light work of the youngsters. Couldn’t find anyone to go with and hotels prices are outrageous.

So they just hang out and play in Indian Wells all year except when they go play majors?

Every time I happen to watch they are at Indian Wells.

Haha it's just once a year. You must only watch in March.

He probably got confused because they ran it in the fall a year or two ago, right?

Wow at shittypants losing to pornstache. I think there is some weirdness to these courts. Aren't they slow?

Yeah the court itself is as slow as a hard court gets. There’s about a dozen other factors that make the tourney quirky though.

Cressy double faults at 13-all in the 2nd set breaker and loses on the next point. Live by the serve, die by the serve.

Unfortunately caught this late but Tsitsipas is nursing a right shoulder injury. He had absolutely zero power behind his backhand. Still managed to win a set and force a 3rd set TB despite only having his serve and forehand.

Guess that would explain why he was 11/1 pre-tourney.

Tiafoe playing US Open good. He will go deep in this tournament.

He has 2 more likely wins lined up before playing Norrie or Rublev in the QF.

Bayou: I piggybacked your sock play. You like him today?

I do. Sock has a pretty decent edge on serve and Cerundolo is another basic guy with nothing to trouble him. Jack lost a good bit of weight too it seems. Took him to win 2-1 as well.

Took some Ruud boy +550 to win the 3rd quarter as well. They shouldn't take that down since the bottom half isn't in action today.

Like Tiafoe to win 4th quarter as well but waiting to see the price at other books. Norrie and Rublev facing off in R16. Much easier path to QF for Foe.

Yeah, I was looking lines the other day, thinking there is a ton of value on those guys with Nole in the tourney. I'm really going to try to bet small and respect the grind this year. We'll see if I can show some discipline. DraftKings is one of the few accounts I don't have, so I may open that. But, it looks like Fanduel has better odds on most guys right now

I only have FanDuel but may branch bc it doesn’t seem they have as many different options on their board.
