Has anyone been washed up younger than Thiem?

I remember he played way more tournaments than anybody else for years. Perhaps that was a mistake

Forgot about that. Good point. He caught Muguruza disease and I'm not sure if there's a cure.

Can Sock come back from down 5-1 here?

Fritz and Shelton each have 4 aces in 3 sets. Is this even tennis?

Was wondering the same so I just googled. LINK

“I’ve had so many moments in my career where I’ve been so high, and other moments when I’ve not been so high.

It’s a process of trying to get back up there. Now I’m focusing on training hard and being humble. You have to know that maybe you haven’t had the success recently as you had in other years, but that’s fine because things can change very quickly.

With tennis, one week it can go wrong, then next week it can go well, then everything changes again. I think experience helps me to stay calm in the not-so-good moments when I haven’t been playing as well or results haven’t followed," Muguruza said.

That's a lot of words to say nothing really lol

Shelton and Fritz was great from what I saw. Shelton was causing him fits in the first set. The kid has great feel to go with the power. Fritz had to play really well to get through it.

Shelton has a bright future.

Fritz appears to be entering his prime

It looked like he was already in beast mode right out of the gate.

So Med is +150 and Ruud is +3100. Honestly I don’t see a ton of difference between them on these courts. They would face off in the quarters and Ruud actually has an easier R16 match since Med will probably play Zverev.

I’m fading Zverev as always.

Will probably play Ivashka +53 games or whatever it is. 6’4” pusher vs. 6’6” pusher.

He’s becoming an all-court player. Would be surprised if he loses.

Cracka has been dogging him for years as mentally soft. I thought Ruud boy would do well on these slow courts, but Garin is kind of a clay guy, right? Ivashka +1300 is not the world's worst bet. I like Tommy P. plus money against Hurka Durka.

Pegula is saying conditions are crazy day to day. From cold and windy to hot, there is no consistency.
