Not sure I understand, but the door water dispenser works as does the freezer ice maker.

When you push the water the solenoid lets water flow.
the same with the ice maker when ice drops the solenoid open fill the tray.

There are 4-5 solenoids on a frigidaire fridge. Getting water to the dispenser has nothing to do with getting water to the icemaker(s).
