2015 I bought a 30-30 from an ol boy who was selling his pawpaws gun on Facebook. He claimed that he had bought it and the two boxes of shells and only 5-8 shells were missing from the two boxes.
I kept one box whole and have shot the others. The gun is a 1978 model 336

I got a box of browning 30-06 bullets my grandpaw gave me and it says $4 on the box lol. Now regular brass loads are atleast $30.

It is but if history repeats itself the next few months will have the cheapest ammo out of any time in the next two election cycles. Of course things change if something scary happens with a gun.

$22.95 in 1985 = $63.50 in 2022

Will this drop come with recession? I don't think this president wants the price of ammo to be affordable or available...

And yet I would gladly pay that price for a box or two of 6mm Remington bullets if I could find them.

If inflation wasn't 20% over the last 2 yrs, we'd probably be seeing 20cpr 223 and 12cpr 9mm over the next 14 months or so, but I figure it will bottom our around 35cpr for 223 and 20cpr for 9mm.

22.95 in the 80s is pretty damn expensive tbh

I just miss the days of buying a 550 round box of .22 LR for 5.95 at wal mart
