If your neighbor was having a weekend party/get together with “loud” music pretty late would you be willing to tolerate it if they let you know in advance and gave you a $200 Ruths Chris gift card?

For me to be okay with loud parties late its gonna take a whole hell of a lot more than $200 in steak.

I find that insulting.

You can't just give me money and expect me to be okay with you being loud.

In that scenario you're determining what silence is worth to me. You have no idea how much it costs for me to accept unwanted noise. It's more than steak.

I'd settle for an invite and an open bar

Go to sleep Karen

Edited to add: I dont have to do anything. Wouldn't be in violation of any HOA rules and I promise EBRSO wouldn’t bother if called.

Don’t want to be that guy though. I just hope my neighbors aren’t miserable like you

So someone is paying you $200 not come to their party?

Im not trying to argue with you. You asked a question. Most of your neighbors might not care and happily take a gift card. I wouldn't. I'm not special and there are people out there who feel similarly.

It sets a precedent that anytime you want to be loud you can just give me steak. I find that insulting.

Also, I've been asleep. I'm up for the day.

Lmao no I’m on the paying someone not to come side.

Not necessarily that I don’t want them there but my neighbors are all older than me and married while I’m single. Don’t think the wives would approve of the crowd I have over.

You need to do the right thing. Go rent an isolated party mansion for the evening like they do in the Christmas film “Eyes Wide Shut”.

If silence is worth that much to you, then you should be living in the country, not a city.

Absolutely. As long as there’s not a party every single weekend, everyone is entitled to a party or two at their house.
