Seeking Information - Deer License/Permit Midwestern States

I previously started a thread seeking Information about Whitetail Outfitters in the Kansas/Missouri/Iowa area so that My mother can surprise my father with a trip for his 50th next year.
We have found some possible outfitters, however in doing research there is some confusion on acquiring the tag/permit/license as it's different than I'm accustomed to in Texas and Mississippi.
My question,if we choose an outfitter in one of the aforementioned Midwest states, is it possible not to receive the appropriate tag/license due to the quota/draw process? Any information regarding licensing/permit in the states is helpful. Thanks!

No problem for out of state hunters getting tags in Missouri.
I do believe Iowa and Kansas have different laws and rules for out of state hunters.
Missouri is $265 for gun tag (any deer) then $25 for any additional doe tag. It’s the same for Archery tag. Archery gives you two buck tags. One can be used before gun season and the second can be used after gun season if you do not fill a buck tag during gun season.
Hope that helps.

You’re going to need a priority point in Iowa. Probably not getting drawn in 1st year.

Iowa - draw. The more points, the better.
Kansas - draw, but not real difficult, depending on unit
Missouri - over the counter tags
Consider Oklahoma or Nebraska

Not getting in Iowa without at least 3 points. I’ve been to Kansas twice and drawn both times. But I also know people from here in LA who leased land in Kansas and have yet to draw for the unit where they are paying to lease land.

Iowa depends on the zone and weapon.
