Looking for place to stay for a week in the summer. 10 families so cabins or similar. Any recommendations

You're not going to find cabins in Austin/Round Rock.
I'm confused.
If you're wanting a cabin experience, then might I suggest the Hill Country - Fredericksburg or Kerrville. Maybe you could find cabins in Burnet/Marble Falls.

You may be able to find some cabins/larger houses on the upriver portion of Travis, but agree with Rummy that you won't find them in Austin/Round Rock. I would look out in the hill country near dripping springs

I think Wimberley is great.

McKinney Falls State Park has cabins and I believe it is technically in Austin.
Unfortunately for OP they only have 6 with a max of 4 people per cabin.
