That's how bad manners will keep getting worse. The solution is not to act like them.

When people are rude I keep my manners intact, in fact I turn it up a notch. When people don't say thank you or acknowledge a pleasantry like a door opened, I tell them "to have a nice day." Most of them time I will then get a "Thank you." That could even improve that person's manners on their next encounter, you never know.

Yeah, you are correct. Even though I get frustrated about other peoples manners i keep my cool. I’m also raising both of my sons to be respectful of other people.
