It's the same technology that cable/satellite boxes use to talk to each other when there is a central unit.

I’m using MoCa with a mesh WiFi system. I have the router connected to the node through coax with MoCa adapters. It allows me to use all 3 channels of my tri-band WiFi 6 setup. I have AT&T fiber at my house.

I’ve been happy with it so far
