Honestly, I don't give a frick if my political philosophy angers other voters. You think I am an idiot for my views, I think people who vote platform over person are idiots.

I look back to George Bush Sr "no new taxes". That is in the best interest of all voters right? People voted for him and what happens.. He raises taxes (I know it was something he had to do, but that's an example of politicians telling you whatever you want to hear because their primary goal is to get you to the poll and select their name).

Not to mention, there is this whole process a president has to go through to make a lot of changes. Congress. So instead of telling voters "my plan is to work with congress to get this done. And let me show you why I want to get this done, this information shows that this is the most likely move to do what's in the best interest of the people of the United States" they get up there and tell people "I am going to do this and I am going to do that. Me. Me. Me.. I am your last hope. Be scared of anyone that isn't ME".

Its just not in my nature to simply think "I am voting for this person because if they are elected they will just magically make the country a much better place. The other person is bad. If they win everything will go to shite. That's what the people on my TV and radio says"
