Man times have changed. When I was 10 my dad and uncle sent me up a 25 foot ladder stand that was literally a ladder and a 2x2 piece of plywood attached to sit on, handed me a .300 and said, “stay here and if you see anything, shoot. Don’t get down until you see our headlights coming back.”
