Baton Rouge sports radio is the best in the state. New Orleans sucks, and Lafayette used to have that one guy that was pretty good. Cant talk for the rest of the state, but haven't heard about anybody else worthwhile.
One of my buddies used to be in the sports journo scene working in Mississippi and Texas and he says that BR has no reason to be as good as they are.

Wtf are you talking about Vermillion….I just said Nola has terrible radio and Baton Rouge was better. How is it a terrible comparison. Can you comprehend??

Baton Rouge is in the same town as LSU. Baton Rouge sports talk is better than New Orleans because the big money and establishment types in New Orleans don’t care about LSU. Amazing what having a massive school and teams everyone cares about in Baton Rouge will do for the quality of sports talk. You can only talk so much about the Saints. But at the end of the day it’s a seasonal sport that can’t drive year round quality talk. LSU > Saints in Louisiana anyways.

Maybe that’s why…
