Saban's gonna be blitzin soon as he steps off the damn bus. Can we handle his complex schemes? Maybe. If we pound their arse early, we'll have a great chance. But if we look confused on O early, I'm nervous about how we handle it. My key is, keep it close and wear them down in the 4th. Thoughts?

Dickson and Scott at FB is the key to Sabanistic blitzes. The middle of the field will be WIDE arse OPEN to slip those 2 out there.

I don't think we can handle the blitz...establish the run game early and hope it's successful.

I agree, hang in there till the 4th and we can pull it out.

simple. dump to dickson on a hot route. or, go skinny post pattern like georgia did to us on a corner blitz.

I would like to see Crowton run that pass play to a back out of the backfield over the middle to any of our backs. That play used to kill LSU when Saban was here, just a little slip screen right behind the blitz, I remember Florida using it repeatedly in '03.

As long as we don't spot them points we can win. Saban's defense is always vulnerable over the middle. That's where we got burned all the time. If you need proof check the Ole Miss game. Manning floated a ball to a FB on a circle route out of the backfield. Then in the SECCG UGA had Lumpkin out the backfield on a similar route but Lumpkin dropped a sure TD. He was beaten many times at LSU with that scheme. Look at how UF picked apart that defense with not so great Chris Leak.
