Because at his peak, he's a transcendent talent... easily All American. Possibly a Heisman finalist. People forget that early on, he looked every bit as good as someone like Chase or OBJ.

He did seem distracted, but I think this decision clears that up.
He's a first rd talent, goes no later than 2nd rd as of now. In fact, he's likely to drop to a better team right now.
If he felt that the world revolves around him, he'd be gone already, getting a personal trainer to prepare for the combine. Teams knew he was coming off an injury and working back into shape, his performance against UGA (best defense in the nation) shows he's ready.

Coming back shows to me that he feels he has unfinished business here, wants to come reestablish dominance and play for something more on a team level.
