Wouldn't seven seasons or more lead you to believe that it was a pretty good show? Three or four seasons says that it might have been ok but lost it quickly. Why start a show with less content, unless it was supposed to be a limited series.

I understand where the OP is coming from. I usually only watch about 4 hours of non-sports TV per week. If a show has a bunch of seasons and a lot of eps per season I'm less likely to dive in bc it would take me too long to get through it.

Edit to add, if I start a show when it only has a couple of seasons and then it continues that is cool, but if I haven't started a show and it gets up to 4 or 5 seasons I probably won't start it.
