Now that my anger is wearing off, I'm actually relieved. I can stop selling myself dreams about how we can still win the division. It's over, and I'm strangely ok with that.
Now let's get rid of Allen, and find someone to give us a 1st back for Sean.

I’d feel a lot better about it if I really believed DA was about to get fired. But I worry we’re staring down the barrel of another 12 months of this

Been saying all week the last thing this franchise needs is to make the playoffs and have people think they're moving in the right direction. They're not. They're regressing and will be for 2 more years minimum before we bounce back.
We don't have a QB, capital, cap is trashed. Then we made the most stupid hire of the offseason with defensive-minded Dennis Allen when you can look around the league and all of the top tier teams are offensive-minded sans Buffalo but Buffalo has Josh Allen. Saints are behind the curve. Dennis Allen and Andy Dalton/Jameis Winston. Let that sink in.

I've been done with this team. I refused to let them effect my emotions about 3 weeks ago.

The terrible coaching is obvious but what amplifies it is the shitshow that has been the Saints geriatric FA signings, roster management, and awful contracts. Perfect storm. They're lucky to have as many wins as they do with how bad they've looked for several long stretches this season.

Could hire Bellicheck next year and we will suck.
We’re almost 13/34 halfway through the DA experiment, and if it goes well next year Caleb Williams is a Saint and we’ll have elite minds wanting this job in 24. Patience, DA has a purpose to serve.
