I saw this kid play last week from Thibodaux high and he was amazing. I think he is a junior. Might not be LSU talent, but he was extremely impressive. Last name was Reed

Wouldn't go that far. If LSU can project a clear position for him, they offer him. Don't think he is so elite an athlete that LSU would offer without a clear and definite idea on how to use him.

He is gonna be a 5-star or high 4-star WR. We are recruiting him!

Dude you are nuts. He's a legit 5-star/very high 4-star ATH. He's getting (or maybe already has) an LSU offer.

I agree with Thunderbird. He's lsited in the early top 100 players list for the nation. He'll be one of the top 2-3 players in LA. UGA among others have offered him already.

Dude, he dominated at the LSU camp as a junior. We are recruiting him! Hes one of the best, if not the best in the state next year.

Of course we are recruiting him, but that doesn't mean he will definitely get an offer.

Here's the problem, from his film he is a good but not elite athlete. And from watching him play, it is tough to say where he will project. Does he have the hands to be a WR? Does he have the hips to play CB? Do we need a project at safety with all the safeties we have?

He is basically the same as Drayton Calhoun, only it appears he is a hair slower perhaps. Where is the need? Again, it is likely he gets an offer if they are sure there is a position for him. But just looking at his film, its hard to project one.

Dude, you have no idea what you're talking about. The guy is very likely the #1 player in Louisiana next year. There's no way we DON'T offer him.

Just my opinion, but looking at his film he looks like a 4 star athlete around 100-150 in the nation. I wouldn't put him in the top 3 next year.

He already has 3 SEC offers and is considered a Top 50 player minimum next year.

Yeah Tigercat, you're gonna lose this arguement I'm afraid. He dominated the camp circuit last summer and will push to be a 5 star player. Everyone is going to offer him.

By who? Would you consider him that? Looking at his film does his skill set look elite to you? Again, to me he looks like Drayton Calhoun. Good speed and agility but without the bulk to be a RB. Unknown hands to play WR, and unknown if he has the hips to play CB.

To compare to another athlete in Chad Jones, he doesn't have near the overall athletic ability of a true elite athlete.

Tell me what part of his game on film I am missing that screams top 50 player and top player in Louisiana?

We don't have the luxury to see him perform at camp. It may be he has hands of glue and projects very well at WR.

Yes absolutely. He's an elite Percy Harvin type of athlete.
