Caught this little guy deep dropping out of Venice and don’t know what it is. Anyone?

I’m guessing that one sat in fish box for a while. They’re normally much more colorful/red right out the water. Or maybe it’s just a juvenile. Hard to tell. Apparently these things can live be like 40 years old and don’t get very big at all

They actually have really good meat. White and textured like crabmeat.

Thanks for the replies. Definitely a black belly rose fish. One of the best tasting fish I have ever had. Wish I had more of them.
