you're going to have SOME int's challenging DB's down field in a season. the fact that daniels only had 2 actual int's and only one was a downfield throw tells you all you need to know about his resistance to push the ball.

he had one int in the tennessee game in the end zone and one playing arkansas on a wtf throw.

JD is definitely better at getting sacked, which will kill a drive, and also much better at dropping back to throw with zero thought to actually pass the ball as he waits for defenders to get down the field so he can run.

He did a really great job at running as a QB, maybe the best running QB we've ever had, better than Herb, but he was a terrible QB from the pocket.
We don't need the best athlete on our team to be the QB. We recruit 5* WR's every year. Get them the damn ball.
JD was so bad at throwing deep that it almost helped when he did it b/c he either threw it wildly over and out of bounds, or he under threw the shite out of it, causing the WR to have to come back to the ball and the defender to get an interference call.

You're not going to win anything of significance with a QB that has zero passing game, and JD has zero passing game other than a quick throw to a wide open WR, and he's not even that accurate with that, throwing quick slants behind guys many times this year.

And what sucks is JD actually has a really good arm, he just doesn't know how to use it, or his brain. He's basically Brandon Harris except JD is an elite runner.
