We are never going to go very far if we have to use 9-10 MLS players every World Cup.

Was it the Iran game we didn’t start a single mls player for the first time? I believe it was.
So we went further with more mls players in 2002.
At one point the only goal scored against us was by an mls player.
The real issue is by the time you are drafted into the mls, a player like Saka has already started 100 games for Arsenal and already played in a Euros.
So our players have to go somewhere else while younger to get the top level games at a younger age.
