I've heard (only a rumor) they convinced the number one ranked team in the nation to come to Tiger Stadium to get the fans pumped. I, for one, hope it's true.

It's because of last year. 2007 was a season that comes once in a lifetime. Forget about last year right now. Forget about 2003, forget about the last 10 years. This is bama for crying out loud. The same bama that whipped our asses at home for 30 years. Do you want to feel it for this game then come to gumpland for a few days, and I guarantee that you will be fighting mad by Saturday. I try not to look ahead in the schedule, but with all these bandwagon bennies in gumpland this game is impossable not to look ahead for. I even thought about hiring a voice coach to teach me how to keep my voice longer so I can keep yelling at those commy bastards.

This is a sad question...It used to be nothing needed....just our football team was enough to make Sat night in Tiger land...now we are asking about promotions and we have the #1 team and our old coach returning to our house

Absolutely, haven't you heard. NS is coming to town and rumor has it that Gameday will be there too! Hopefully it will be a sellout!

The #1 team in the nation is coming to town. They are a hated rival and their coach is a traitor who announced his intentions to leave on Christmas Eve no less. What other motivation do the fans need? That being said, the LSU marketing and promotions people suck big time.
