Well Car and driver does not Recommend 2023 Tundras. Don't know about 2022s except they were ranked last out of all full size trucks

Car and Driver follows certain criteria with their recommendations and reliability isn't one of them. They are more concerned with flash and gizmos and first impressions. I had one of their picks years ago and it was a fun car, but poorly engineered and even the service manager told me to dump it after three years.
A lot depends on what your habits are. If you trade vehicles often, C&D can be useful. If you keep a vehicle a long time and are concerned about cost of ownership, not so much.
