He said last year that he would play here for the league minimum. If he still stands by that, this is a no-brainer. He's better than Jason David, and cheaper if the above is true.

Absolutely, we should give him a call. He realized that the Raiders are coached by the owner. W.Sapp even made comments about how the schemes was changed by Al Davis. Expect more defections from the Raiders. If I was D. Hall, I would give up on the "big" contract from the Raiders. Oakland is the place where NFL dreams go to die. D. Hall with the Saints would be a good fit. D. Hall would solidify the secondary to a point of respectability.

He wasn't a bad player for the Falcons and might want a chance to strap it up against his old team.
That being said he doesn't seem like a good locker room guy so I'd only bring him in if Vilma, Brees, MM and Deuce agree that they could keep him in check.

I wanted him before the season, but now I don't. He looks like he has lost a step. I would rather get Young some playing time along with McKenzie and Gay starting than to bring Hall in.
