The thing is he’s a run first guy and when our offense has played well vs good teams he’s averaged 18-20 rushing attempts per game. Other Run first QB didn’t have WRs with big numbers either but they still won a lot. Look at Percy Harvin with Tebow, around 40-50 catches, look at Cams WRs, look at Nick Marshall’s WRs. You’re right we have guys open but our QB isn’t being used the right way.

And whose fault is that? Denbrock? Kelly?
I don't necessarily disagree with you. Daniels a run-first QB. That's what he does. The problem is that, when he scrambles, he doesn't keep his eyes downfield to look for open receivers, ala Bryce Young. He also holds onto the ball for way too long. He seemed to get away from that for a while, but he's fallen back into his old habits since the Arkansas game.
Kelly knew exactly what he was getting when he went out and brought Daniels to LSU. So, he either felt that Daniels could function adequately within Denbrock's system, or he thought he could develop him into a better pocket passer. The latter hasn't happened and likely won't.
