Thinking about ordering some to plant on my farm. Just curious if anyone else has tried it as well.

I planted around 100 trees 7-8 years ago on my property in Claiborne Co. MS. About 15 were Chestnut trees. For the most part, they have done well. None have produced nuts yet but I'm hoping that will change in the near future. The trees that didn't make it may have been planted in spots that held a little too much water. I recommend using tree tubes to protect them and increase their growth rates.

Ive planted dunstans and chinese chestnuts. Some of the 4 and 5 yr old trees produced this year.

My dad and I planted some a few years ago. The ones we planted in the field didn't do that great. The ones we planted in yards took off and look awesome now.
