When LSU lost to FSU I set a goal for the season…

…I thought it would be great if this team could beat a couple of our rivals and, by some miracle, beat Alabama. They did even better than that.
I am not terribly upset that they lost to Aggie, because my self-esteem does not rise and fall with this, and because I knew LSU was not a contender.
A 9-3 season, SEC West Champions, and a win over Alabama is above the ceiling for what any of us thought this team could do. I’ll take it. Congratulations, Tigers, on a great regular season. Let’s get one of the next two. Ten wins would be surreal, with what Kelly was left by Orgeron.

LSU still has a chance for an 11-win season. It's possible, not probable, but 10 wins are certainly within sights.

I set a goal of not losing to the worst power 5 team on our schedule. Seems to have failed

If you don’t care about getting our arse beat by a 4-7 team then you have issues. You can’t end a regular season like that especially with that on the line. Kelly said his team was unmotivated… no excuse

The amount of work CBK and the coaches put in to get a team together to compete every Saturday was tremendous.
From season kickoff through the end this 2022 tiger team made tremendous progress.
I'm happy this team is SEC West champs. Playing for a League Championship and a bowl game to tie up a good football campaign.
