This. Bama will jump LSU if they lose tonight. If LSU wins tonight but loses the SECCG Bama isn’t jumping them no matter what.

Touting “fewer losses” because LSU beat Bama to earn the right to play that extra game is stupid.

They might get in.

But it would be wholly unjustified. They're a 2 loss team that didn't even make their CCG.

If not being a conference champion is ok, then Sloopy, Michigan, TCU, and UGA would have better records even with the last three losing their CCG. That would also mean 2 loss LSU is the SEC champ.
