do you have any special traditions?

I love telling the story of the person that gave me special ornaments when I'm decorating the tree. Lots of loved ones that are no longer with us.

My brother managed to procure the husband a fifth of Blantons. He has no idea.

What did your Father do for a living?

Was he a Veteran? Member of any organizations? Even a frequent blood donor?

I have not.

To my knowledge, avian dinosaurs do not have mammary glads.

So like "almond milk", we have to squeeze the fat out and just call it milk.

special ornaments

Oh that’s a good idea. My little sister that actually can sew kept a bunch of his favorite shirts and made I think a baby blanket for his only grandchild so far and some other crafts with it. I bet she could make us some sort of ornament with it?

No he never qualified for service cause he was consider disabled since a child from Polio (he actually suffered lifelong health and mental issues from having Polio)

He was a very simple man. Took care of his family and liked to go fishing on occasion.

I'm confused, you just described everyone here, are we all alternates of a main poster but not aware because we are so self centered?

Ok..I was looking for a connection to an org. that would accept something in his name or something he greatly appreciated.

Get creative...a fishing lure decorated for Christmas? An ornament of Santa fishing?

You'll get something.

It’s actually why I’ve been very pro vaccine since I can remember. He got polio before there was as a vaccine for it. His life would have looked soooo much different if there had been a Polio vaccine when he was a little boy.

Just cause you survive polio doesn’t mean you are all good. He had to relearn how to walk again (as a very young child that should be running around). Had a permanent limp the rest of his life and a badly disfigured leg from it.
