maybe, but teams like bama and AU are still going to schedule cupcakes the week before the iron bowl. It's just how they set their schedule. And I have no issue with it.

I don't either. My issue would be with the number of conference games when all of the other P5 conferences play 9.
Also, P5 teams playing FCS teams really needs to stop at some point. JMO.

Yeah and why wouldn’t we. In 2017 we had to play uga twice and Bama in a 4 week span and had to win them all to make the playoffs. Those two played for the natty that year. Somehow we need to play another conference game in between those?
Let us end the year with Colorado, ucla, Arizona st and Stanford and then I’m sure we will be glad to play our cupcakes earlier in the year
It is really weird to me that people get so up in arms about the schedule and when teams play other teams
