Well no, I don't know that but when unusual violence occurs in unusual places, it's news.
A violent shooting in a gay bar is news. Plain and simple.
Why this story rightly points out this occurred in a gay bar shouldn't be a discussion. It makes perfect sense that fact should be pointed out.
