Thanks! Going to grind the neck and most of the rest into burger meat and freeze with dry ice for a long drive. Smoked deer burgers (50/50 beef) last year and they turned out really good. Hoping to get a 2nd buck first though…

Ain’t did shite today. Made it halfway to a stand we haven’t been able to access in 5-6 years. Winched out twice, decided to walk the rest of the way.
Cousin shot at his first deer besides a button buck and a 50lb doe, so I got down early to go help him look. Nothing but a chunk of fat with some white hair. Probably a clean belly shot. Walked the woods and didn’t find shite.
Bought my first piece of Sitka today, Dakota hoody. I’m fricking sold, lawd. But that’s all I need for now
