If they consider Tennessee #9 behind A&M, they would. They probably will need to do so to have geographic balance.

How is TENN not in the top 8. I think this everybody plays 2 in the top 8 is just a way for people to try to argue that LSU is going to play Alabama.

Alabama's 2 historical rivals are Auburn and TENN, one is in-state and one is a border state.

Alabama is not going to agree to those 3 games.

They are going to use some geographic metrics and historical rivals. LSU does not meet either for Alabama.
