I knew all that, but it’s technically not a political office so......
But yes, he was politically active in the private sector. Very active.
Trump was also very active in the politics in the business world. He certainly was involved in politics as he fought for benefits for his companies.
Lake’s resume’ as an anchor were more in line with the qualifications Jessie Ventura had when he ran for Governor and won.

Yes, and not just politically active. He ran for office and was elected multiple times...granted for a powerful union and not public office, although being president of a union is most definitely a political office. Randi Weingarten's position as a union president is most definitely political.

The Ventura analogy is somewhat relevant...but Ventura actually had been elected mayor and served in that office for four years.
Schwarzenegger might be a valid comparison, but he also had been appointed to various positions by Presidents and governors, so he also had limited experience in the political arena.
