Van Pelt about to address this on ESPN Radio next. Said Nick is making some crazy request this week for the game in BR.

Anyone know what he's talking about?

He warned reporters not to ask questions regarding his return to LSU or they would be in for a butt-chewin....

Saban tells the media not to ask him about his time at LSU.

"They will get an a$$ chewing if they do."

Van Pelt thinks this is absurd.

He wants to cornhole Jordy at half if they are up by 31 points.

I assume he is talking about how Nick has been pretty strong with the media trying to get them to leave the whole Saban story out of the hype for the game, instead just making it about the players.

He wants Candy in the locker room after the game.

Wants ESPN to promise that Lou will pick LSU.

I WISH I was in the media and he raised his voice to me. What gives him the right to dictate what questions shall and shall not be asked?

His ego is so big he thinks he can dictate what reporters ask him. How can you like this guy?

Me too. What irks me is that the reporters cower when he roughs them up verbally.

You know the media, they HATE when anybody tells them how to do their job. Will this get as much play as RJF and his "verbal taunting" of Tebow? Maybe not...I mean that was on the bottom line ticker.

Bama media may feign and obey, but the national guys will jump on him.

Either way, Saban made this week more of a circus by saying this....and that works to our advantage.

If this game is about him instead of his players, that's not the media's fault. That's his fault.

He knew when he accepted a job at Bama that this would always be an issue. He can't have his cake and eat it too.

It is comical that the media actually plays along with assclowns like Saban and Weiss that try to dictate to them. The days of needing access to a program are over.

There are plenty of opportunities and storylines to write about without needing access to interview a coach or a player. Their commentary has become so mundane in the new era of anemic coachspeak that it doesn't really matter. Coaches need the media to write about them more than the media needs to have a soundbite. Just ask Tuberville

I hope someone peppers him with questions and makes his head explode. That would be comical.
